Brian Conklin

Brian Keith Conklin, 54 of Chaffee, Missouri died Monday, April 26, 2021 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  He was born March 5, 1967 in Cape Girardeau to Johnny Ray and Virginia Lynn Jarosik Conklin.  He married Cori Doogan on November 28, 2008 and she preceded him in death on September 22, 2016.

He was a carpenter for Carpenters Local Union 1770.  He was a member of Fathers Arms Fellowship in Scott City and St. Louis – Kansas City Regional Council of Carpenters.

He is survived by his parents, Johnny Ray and Virginia Conklin of Kelso; a son, Johnny Ray Conklin of the home; five daughters, Paige (Joel St. John) Holder of Scott City; Breanna Rae Conklin of Kelso, Graycie, Marley and Loren Conklin of the home; three stepchildren, Nick, Brenden and Samantha Joray of Knoxville, Tennessee; two brothers, Chris Conklin of Scott City and Michael Conklin of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Laura Watkins of Scott City and two grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Oliva Breann Conklin.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the Fathers Arms Fellowship church in Scott City.

Funeral service will be 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the church with Rev. Kenny Strong officiating.
