Brenda Schwepker, daughter of the late Raymond Emerson, Jr. and Lucille (Isaacs) Emerson were born on February 6, 1948 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed her life on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 77 years.

She was former owner of Schindler’s Tavern in New Hamburg, Missouri for 10 years and employed at the Morley Café for several years. Brenda was a member of the Morley Baptist Church and Morley V.F.W. Auxiliary.

Survivors include two daughters, Kelley (Greg) Branson of Sikeston, Missouri and Bobbi (Tony) Schwepker of Delta, Missouri; six grandchildren, Zach, Aaron, Brianna, Colby, Kylie, and Micah; by five great-grandchildren, Allie Mae, Bryant Jr., Amari Grace, Caysen, Aslyn, and a great-grandson due in July; by two brothers, Brad Emerson of Kennett and J.R. Emerson of Chaffee; two sisters, Glenda Emerson and Kay Emerson both of Scott City; also, by other relatives and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Sydnea Elizabeth; three sisters, Ginny Emerson, Cheryl Young, and Florence Emerson.

Celebration of life will be held from 2:00 until 5:00 PM Saturday, May 3, 2025 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
