Brenda Markham

Brenda Jean Markham, daughter of the late Loren and Esther (Jones) Groff was born July 3, 1943 in French Lick, Indiana and departed this life on March 5, 2021 at her residence in Jackson, Missouri at the age of 77 years old.

Survivors include two daughters: Michelle (Bruce) McAdams of Jackson, Missouri, Susan (Brett) Hart of Virginia; one son: Ervin (Marissa) Markham of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; one sister: Betty Carter of West Baden, Indiana, eight grandchildren: Lucas, Nicholas, Alena McAdams all of Jackson, Loren (Cory) Morrow of Iowa, Matt (Ann) Hart of Virginia, Zachary, Kendra, Gabrielle of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; three great grandchildren: Raife and Calix Morrow,  Sadie Hart; and multiple nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter: Cecily McAdams, three brothers: Kenneth, Robert, and James Groff; three sisters: Rosemary Brown, Virginia Hall, and Catherine York.

There will be a Memorial Service at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at the Cape First Church in Marble Hill with Pastor Mark Graham officiating.
