Brandon “B-Man” Coomer , 42 of Scott City, Missouri passed away peacefully July 4, 2022 surrounded by family at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born October 3, 1979 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Rick and Carol Sanford Coomer.
He had a passion for fishing, drawing, playing pool and playing his guitar. Those who knew him loved him. For several years he played bass in Knotted Fear where he met many of his closest friends.
Loving survivors include his parents; a daughter, Brinna Coomer and grandson, Kylan Murry; two sisters, Angie Coomer (Joe Krieger) of Marble Hill and Laura Masterson of Oak Ridge; three nieces, Carol Grebe of Jackson, Britney Coomer (Ty Johnston) of Friedheim and Mae Masterson of Oak Ridge; two nephews, Jamie Heck of Jackson and Steve Masterson of Belle Chasse, Louisiana; three great nieces, Lilly, Azlynn and Daisy; a great nephew, Gavin; sixteen uncles; sixteen aunts; many cousins; fiancé, Candy Hill of Scott City; three stepdaughters, Danielle Dodd, Destiny Hill and Darlene (Ben) Delos Santos; a stepson, David Dodd; four step-grandsons, Zadrian Dodd, Braylon DeLos Santos, Isaiah Dodd and Ezra DeLos Santos; two step-granddaughters, Kaydence Dodd and Elena DeLos Santos.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Bob and Berdean Coomer, maternal grandparents, Rufus and Shirley Sandford; four uncles, three aunts and a cousin.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm on Saturday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday at the chapel with Rev. Steve Koerner officiating.
Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
The family encourages wearing Rock Band t-shirts, Harley Davison shirts or anything purple which was Brandon's favorite color.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to assist with funeral expenses.
