Robert Hagan, Jr., 66 of Scott City died Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Missouri. He was born February 13, 1955 in Cape Girardeau, MO to Robert and Helen Crader Hagan, Sr.
Robert was a machine operator for Scott County for which he retired from. He enjoyed his position at the County, which had to do with his raising at the family farm. Also, he enjoyed his time with his fellow employees. He never met a stranger! He was in his element while visiting with anyone, especially telling farm stories and a quick joke. His jokes were a given, and enjoyed telling his great-nieces and nephews a new one on his weekend visits. He was a member of the Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City. He may not have been able to attend services in body, but he had great faith in the Lord and what he would be granted after he was gone.
He is survived by three sisters, Darlene (Terry) Seyer, Ruth (Terry) Meier and Sherry (Omar) Haidar. Robert did not have any children, but definitely was involved in the raising of his nieces and nephews. He, along with his parents, made a loving impact on them during childhood and adulthood as well. The family were very blessed to have had them in their lives.
He is survived by five nieces and two nephews. Beyond them, he blessed their spouses by becoming that incredible uncle to them as well. Their children also were able to be blessed with memories of "Uncle Bobby", and their Grandma and Grandpa Hagan. As of just a few years ago, He was known for bringing each one of them cookies every Sunday. Those Sundays were hardly ever skipped and arrival time was always the same, never altering. Surviving of the children are four great-nieces and four great-nephews. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by both his parents, Robert Sr. and Helen. By all who knew Robert and the family, this reunion was Grand.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Friday at the church in Scott Citywith Rev. Barry Pfanstiel officiating .
