Bobby "Bob" Hodge

Bob Hodge, son of the late Dariel Hodge and Carolyn (Coyle) Hodge was born on August 18, 1964 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed his life peacefully in his sleep on Monday, October 27, 2023 at his residence in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 59 years.

Bob was a man who loved to tell stories, fish, read western books, and a few cold beers.  He was a former welder with Panama Steel in Bertrand, Missouri.

On October 28, 1995 he was united in marriage to Rita Diane Reynolds.  Mrs. Hodge preceded him in death on July 14, 2015.

Survivors include one son, Robert Hodge of St. Louis; one brother, Jessie Hodge of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Kim (Penny) Potts of New Cambria, Kansas, Jennifer Graham of Sturdivant, and Tara Hodge of Chaffee; five nieces and nephews, Dillon Shipman of Sturdivant, Cheyanne Shipman of Advance, Dawson Shipman of Dexter, Ryder and Lydia Woods; also, by three great nieces Paisleigh, Khloeigh, and Avareigh Gadberry.

Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Kendell Gordon Hodge, and his dear friends Mabel and Junior Murray.

There will be no funeral services held at this time.  Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapels assisting with arrangements.
