Bobbie Lee Haggett

Bobbie Lee Haggett, son of the late Clyde Haggett Sr. and Lottie Absheer Haggett was born on January 10, 1940 in Granite City, Illinois and departed this on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at his residence in Chaffee, Missouri at the age of 79 years.

On March 24, 1990 he was united in marriage to Carolyn Jane Corbett in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Mrs. Haggett survives of the home in Chaffee.

Mr. Haggett was a former construction worker in St. Louis, Missouri and also for Hussman Refrigeration. In the 70’s he played banjo for the Plummer Family in Branson, Missouri and recorded many albums. Bobbie also owned and operated a refrigeration business in Piedmont, Missouri serving a wide area. He worked for Storeys Food Giant Company until 1993.

Beside his wife, survivors include three sons, Kevin Haggett, Darren Haggett (Jennifer), and Shaun Haggett (Staci); one brother, Clyde Haggett (Arlene); a special grandson, Landon Haggott (Robyn Bowen); other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was beloved by many, never met a stranger, and made friends easily.

Friends may call at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. Monday, September 23, 2019. Elks service will be conducted on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. with the funeral service to follow in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
