Billy Newton, Sr.

Billy Gene Newton, Sr., 81 of Benton, Missouri died Thursday, February 14, 2019 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was born on December 1, 1937 in Marston, Missouri to George Cletus and Hattie Pauline Grubbs Newton.
He was a bridge welder for Nip Kelley. He was a member of Perkins Baptist Church in Perkins, Missouri.
He is survived by two sons, Billy Gene Newton, Jr. of Benton, Missouri and Barry Don Newton of Elsinore, Missouri; two brothers, Bobby Newton of Pacific, Missouri and Stanley Newton of Plant City, Florida; thirteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter, a brother, a sister and a grandchild .
Memorial service will be at later date.
