Betty D. Walton

Betty Walton, daughter of the late Wilson Windeknecht and Lorene Sides Windeknecht was born on April 17, 1935 in Cape County and departed her life on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at the Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Missouri at the age of 88 years.

She was affiliated with the First United Methodist Church in Chaffee, former employee of Home Health Care, and a resident of Chaffee.

Betty was united in marriage to Elgin Walton in Benton, Missouri.  Mr. Walton preceded her in death.

Survivors include one daughter, Deborah Sadler of Chaffee; two granddaughters, Shelly Schrum and Lori Sadler; four great-grandchildren, Stevie, Sidney, Spencer, and Joplyn; two great-great-grandchildren, River and Ozzy; one brother, Bill Windeknecht of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Denise K. Jones; two brothers and one sister.

Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 11:00 until 1:00 with the memorial service taking place at 1:00 P.M. in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
