Betty Eftink

Betty June Eftink, daughter of the late George Sanders and Lydia Sanders was born on September 1, 1955 in Chaffee, Missouri and departed her life on Friday, March 18, 2022 in her home surrounded by family and loved ones at the age of 66 years.

She was a member of the Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran. She spent her life taking care of others and putting her family first. She is a life long resident of Oran, Missouri.

On June 4, 1983 she was united in marriage to Herman Eftink in Oran, Missouri. Mr. Eftink survives of the home in Oran.

Besides her husband, survivors include one son, JR Eftink of Oran; three daughters, Amanda (Stotts) Burnett of Sikeston, Sarah (Tommy) Freeman of Oran, and Charlotte (Ashley Branham) Eftink of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; two sisters, Judy Beaman of Lawson, Missouri and Janis Eftink of Oran; also, by two grandchildren, Hayden Hollis and Jase Hollis.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Sanders of Hillsboro, Missouri and by one sister, Ruth Ann Cave of Chaffee, Missouri.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Eucharistic Celebration will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. in the Guardian Angel Catholic Church with Father Joseph Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.
