Benjamin Scott Kennedy

Ben Kennedy, son of Yvonne Schlitt and Michael Kennedy was born on July 29, 1986 in St. Louis, Missouri and departed his life on Friday July 31, 2020 at his residence in Chaffee, Missouri at the age of 34.

Ben was a proud ten-year Veteran of the United States Army serving in the Iraq and Afghanistan war. He loved to be around family and friends have a good time.

Survivors include his mother, Yvonne Schlitt of Oran; father and step-mother, Michael Kennedy (Hope) of Portland, Tennessee; one brother, Johnathen Kennedy  (Cathy) of Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Valerie Kennedy of Bowling Green, Kentucky and Rebecca Gaspard (Joshua) of Chaffee; by eight nieces and nephews, Emily, Alice, Damian, Vincent, Alaina, Joseph, Bryson, and Winston.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 until 12:00 on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.  Memorial service will be conducted on Thursday at 1:00 P.M. in the committal shelter at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
