Barbara Wright

Barbara Jeanette Wright, 73 of Benton, Missouri died Tuesday,
April 12, 2022 at Heartland Care and Rehab in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  She was born July 11, 1948 in Sikeston, Missouri to Arthur Clyde and Audie Marie Graves Davis.  She married Wesley Wright in 2009 and he preceded her in death.

She was a member Heartland Harvest Church and Father’s Arms Fellowship, a avid Horseshoe pitcher and member of SEMO Horseshoe Association.

She is survived by a daughter, Karen (Tim) Kassinger of Benton; a brother, Ronnie Davis of Brookhaven, Mississippi; a sister, Carla (Darrel) Hanks of Oran, Five Grandchildren, Donald Joe II, Kristopher, Lindsay, Nicholas Brooks and Jesse Ziegler and five great grandchildren, Aryanna, Dominick and Nicholas Brooks, Jr., Mya Martinez and Melody Myers.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Jr. Davis; two sisters, Margaret Knight and Katherine Surface and a grandson, Jeremy Brooks.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm on Saturday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday at the chapel.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to assist the family with funeral expenses.
