Barbara Mcintyre

Barbara Sue McIntyre, 75, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, March 4, 2024, at Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau. She was born Oct. 4, 1948, in Sikeston to Dorman and Georgia Smith Buck. She married Gary McIntyre 50 years ago on Feb. 2, 1974, in Illmo.

She is survived by her husband, Gary McIntyre; her son, Matthew (Veronica) McIntyre, and her grandchildren, Uilleam and Ronan McIntyre of Cape Girardeau; a brother, George Buck of Claremore, Oklahoma and a sister, Carol Swinford of Chaffee.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 7, at the chapel.

Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery.
