Barbara Ann Eldridge, 82 of Scott City died Tuesday at noon at her home. She was born January 16, 1938 in Springfield, Massachusetts to Henry and Mildred Cashman Boucher. She married Herbert Lloyd Eldridge on June 2, 1956. He preceded her in death on November 27, 2000.
She worked for Ely Walker, Tri-Con Factory and Superior Electric. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by three sons, Tam (Vicky) Eldridge of Rowlett, Texas, Callie Jon (Brandy) Eldridge of Kountze, Texas and Chris (Tracy) Eldridge of Scott City; three daughters, Bambi (Jerry) Chatman, Robin Roberts and Lori (Guy) Hale Scott City; a brother, Ronald (Chris) Cashman of Massachusetts; eighteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Allen “Oopy” Eldridge; a grandson, Gregory Alan Hale; a brother, William “Billy” Boucher and a sister, Shirley Constantino.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm on Saturday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday at the chapel with Rev. Joe Horger officiating.
Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
