Arvella Robert

Arvella M. Robert, 100 of Scott City, Missouri died Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was born March 24, 1925 in Commerce, Missouri to Benjamin and Olivia Regina Scherer LeDure.

She married Pius F. Robert on May 1, 1945 in Kelso, Missouri. He preceded her in death on February 1, 2015.

She was owner/operator with her husband of Pius & Arvella’s Tavern and Station for 45 years in Kelso. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and St. Ann’s Sodality.

She is survived by a brother-in- law, Aaron Proffer; special friend Donnie Hennemann and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Parish prayers will be at 5:15 pm.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Friday, April 11, 2025 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso with Rev. Tom Wilk as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery
