Arabella Emma Stike

Arabella Stike, daughter of the late Otto Charles Scheeter and Mamie Westrich Stike was born on June 21, 1917 in Caney, Missouri and departed this life on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 103.

Mrs. Stike retired after many years working as a housekeeper for several Nursing Homes in the St. Louis area, member of the St. Mary’s Church in Cape Girardeau, and a former resident of Chaffee.

On November 23, 1937 she was united in marriage Quintin “Chick” Stike in New Hamburg, Missouri. Mr. Stike preceded her in death on May 10, 1967.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Paul Jerome Stike also by six brother and six sisters.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and special friends Bob and Janice Shirley.

Eucharistic celebration will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at the St. Mary Cathedral in Cape Girardeau, Missouri with Rev. Allan Saunders officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery in New Hamburg, Missouri.
