Annalee Edwards, daughter of the late Fredrick Baker and Laura Bossie was born on July 14, 1934 in Madison, Illinois and departed this life on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at the Chateau Girardeau Nursing Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 87 years.
Mrs. Edwards was a homemaker, of the Baptist Faith, and a resident of Scott City, Missouri.
On April 2, 1949 she was united in marriage to Joseph A. Edwards in Chaffee, Missouri. Mr. Edwards preceded her in death in 2009.
Survivors include one son, Joel Edwards of California; by five daughters, Elizabeth Hacker of California, Catherine Foster and Joan Haas both of Scott City, Missouri, Margaret Rine of St. Louis, Missouri, and Betty Oliver of Joplin, Missouri; by seventeen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-great-grandson.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Larry Edwards.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, Missouri. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Interment will follow at Noon at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
