Anna Lou Welker

Anna Lou Welker, daughter of the late William James and Fatima Margarete (Oliver) Walker was born on December 29, 1942 in McGee, Missouri and departed her life on Monday, April 29, 2024 at her residence in Sturdivant, Missouri at the age of 81 years.

She was a 1960 graduate of Greenville Highschool, former manager at Wal-Mart in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

On April 28, 1973 she was united in marriage to Harold Gene Welker.  He survivors of the home in Sturdivant.

Besides her husband, survivors include one son, Elbert James Welker of Advance, Missouri and by one daughter, Sheila Ann Niswonger of St. Louis, MO; by four grandchildren, Kacie and Zach Niswonger and Paizley and Chesnie Welker; also, by two great-grandchildren, Chase and Kennedy English.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister.

Celebration of life service will be conducted at a later date with family.  Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapels assisting with arrangements.
