Angela Smith

Angela Nicole Smith, 46 of Scott City, Missouri died Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was born November 24,1977 in Cape Girardeau to David Smith and Janet Sue Schott Smith.

She was CNA for St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau and for Home Health Care.  She was a member of Cape Cowboy Church.

She is survived by her mother and father, Janet and Will Morris of Scott City; her daughter, Ava Janae Faith Smith-Miller of Republic, Missouri; three brothers, Aaron Smith of Scott City, Scott Morris of Jacksonville, Florida and Logan Smith of Benton, Arkansas; a sister, Misty Morris of Sikeston, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Jennifer Nichols of Scott City; nieces and nephews, Ashton, Dominic, Reese Smith,  Maci Hillemann and Devin (Shantel) Yamnitz and a great niece Haisley Yamnitz.

She was preceded in death by her father, David Smith; maternal grandparents, Leo & Faye Schott; paternal grandparents, Roy and Earlene Smith and her beloved pet Bailey.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm on Monday, November 11 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 11 at the chapel.

Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
