Allan L. Sample

Allan L. Sample, son of the late Elmer Sample and Virginia Sample was born on September 13, 1953 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed this life on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at the age of 67 years.

Mr. Sample retired from the facilities management dept. at Southeast Missouri State University, and was a resident of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He will be remembered fondly for his sense of humor and love of jokes.

Allan was united in marriage to Madelyn Schmucker in 1994.  Mrs. Schmucker preceded him in death on January 2, 2021.

Survivors include one son, Zachary Sample of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; and by one daughter, Megan Sample of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; and by one brother, George Sample of Cape Girardeau.

Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Karen Burton.

Memorial services will be conducted at a later date.
