Aileen Surface
She was born on April 19, 1916 in Brownwood, Missouri to the late Edward and Emma Maag Copman. She and Raymond Surface were married on Nov. 21, 1939 in Jackson, Missouri and he preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 1990.
Aileen was a homemaker and babysat (and dearly loved) several children including Pam & Sandy Surface; Kim Nothdurft and Tonya Nothdurft; Gail and Kay Moore; Cindy Gloth; Jay, Robin and Troy Parks as well as many nieces and nephews. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Delta where she taught Bible School and Sunday school classes.
She is survived by two daughters, Sharon (Chuck) Mayrand of Hannibal; Brenda (Larry) Potterfield of Columbia, Missouri; four grandchildren, Melody (Carl) Peiter; Russell (April) Potterfield; Sara (Nick) Potterfield and Jessie Mayrand White; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.
Friends may call after 1:00 pm until time of service on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Delta.
Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday at the Church with her son-in-law, Rev. Charles Mayrand officiating. Burial will be at Kenyon Cemetery in Delta.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to First Baptist Church of Delta or Luther Manor Retirement & Nursing Center in Hannibal, Missouri
