Loretta Jean Bom, 71 of Benton died April 22, 2012 at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born January 12, 1941 in Tulare, California to Andrew and Vera Davis Shively. She married Robert D. Bom on February 14, 1959 in East Praire, MO. Loretta was a seamstress for Columbia Sportswear and Thorngate. She is survived by her husband; four sons, Charles Bom of New Madrid, Robert L. Bom of Pacific, MO, Daniel Bom of Sedalia, MO and Tedie Hill of East Prairie, MO; a daughter, Sonya Allen of Benton, MO; a brother, Bob Shively of East Prairie, MO; three sisters, Linda Brown of Mt. Vernon, IL, Carolyn Mackey of Julian, CA and Mary Jerry of Campbell, OH; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, three sisters and twin sons, Terry and Gary. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Wednesday at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Benton, MO. There will be no service.
