Jayne Griffard

Elizabeth Jayne Griffard, 58, of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., formerly of Scott City, died Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 15, 1953, at Chaffee, Mo., the daughter of Albert "Jay" and Dorothy Louise Newlin Fowler. She married Joseph Ray Griffard on Dec. 31, 2000, in Scott City. Jayne had worked as a transport driver for Black's Limo Service. She is survived by her husband; a son, Shaun Kinsey of Scott City; a daughter, Angela Adams of Cadet, Mo., a stepdaughter, Crystal Koenig of Perryville, Mo.; a brother, Jerry Lee Fowler of Benton, Mo.; four sisters Barbara Jo Fisher and Jeffrey Fowler, both of Cape Girardeau, Donna Rose Williams of Whitewater and Peggy Sue Daniels of St. Peters, Mo.; and six grandchildren. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Ernest Kight officiating. Burial will follow in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
