Junior O. Watkins

Junior O. Watkins, 61, of Oran, MO, passed away at the family home on Wednesday July 18, 2012. He was born in Blytheville, AR on February 2, 1951, to the late Oscar and Lillie Bowers Watkins. He married Connie Kaye Hilton on June 7, 1971 and she preceded him in death on October 29, 2011. Junior retired from Florsheim Shoe Factory in Cape Girardeau, MO. Survivors include one son, Danny (Tracy) Watkins of Jackson, MO; one daughter, Anita (James) Mulcahy of Jackson, MO; four grandchildren, Amber Watkins, Ethan Watkins, Kaitlyn and Sara Mulcahy; one brother Donald Watkins of Oran, MO and one sister Pam Wefenstette of Oran, MO. He was also preceded in death by one son, Michael Watkins; three brothers and two sisters. Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran from 10 to 10:45AM Friday July 20, 2012. There will be a graveside service at 11AM at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Morley, MO with Rev. Larry Jackson officiating.
