Larry Gene Sprenger

Larry Gene Sprenger, 68, of Chaffee, MO, passed away at the family home on Monday August 6, 2012. He was born in Dutchtown, MO on July 24, 1944, to the late Robert and Gladys Lucille Sprenger Lincoln. He married Evelyn Horn on October 30, 1971 and she survives. Larry was a member of the United States Army and St. Paul Luthern Church in Chaffee, MO. He and Evelyn were also members of the Horseshoe Bend Fishing Club. He was a past President and Vice President and served 20years on the board. Larry was a funeral director at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee from 1968 until he retired in 2002. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn of the home; one brother, Lynn Lincoln of Chaffee, MO; one nephew, Darren (Tara) Lincoln of Chaffee, MO; one niece, Samantha Lincoln of Chaffee, MO and one great niece Addison Lincoln of Chaffee, MO. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents. Friends may call after 4PM Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The service will be at 10AM at the chapel Thursday, August 9, 2012 with Rev. Hoffstetter as officiant. Burial with full military honors by the Missouri Honor Guard will follow at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee, MO.
