Aubrey Dean Cox

Aubrey Dean "Arb" Cox, 75 of Owensville, MO formerly of Sikeston died August 5, 2012 at Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, MO. He was born October 4, 1936 in Sikeston, MO to Alton Greenville and Mary Alice Williams Cox. He married Loretta "Sue" Pace on May 20, 1956 in Hernando, MS. He retired as a manager for General Motors in the St. Louis area. He served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Aubrey "Lee" (Katheryn) Cox of Ballwin, Mo and Jimmy Dale (Pam) Cox of Owensville, MO; two brothers, Doug Cox of Canton, TX and Joe Yant of Morehouse, MO; two sisters, Verna Davis of Sikeston and Sue Little of Garland, TX; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, a brother, three sisters and a granddaughter. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the time of service Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday at the Chapel with Rev. Kenny Strong officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery with full military honors.
