Dale Seabaugh, 90, of Coweta, OK, formerly of Chaffee, passed away on Monday August 27, 2012, at his daughters home in Coweta, OK. He was born in Zalma, MO on February 18, 1922, to the late Vincent Earl and Bertha Alfreda Abernathy Seabaugh. He married Mable Dehart of August 10, 1946 then married Margaret Guy of February 27, 1960 and she preceded him in death on December 24, 1989. Dale was a self-employed carpenter, building houses before working as a rock crusher machine operator and security guard for St. Joe Mining Co in Viburnum, MO. He was a member of the United States Army serving in WWII from October of 1942 to October 1945. Survivors include one daughter, Kay Boddy of Coweta, Ok; eight grandchildren, Rochelle Henderson of Pearland, TX, Beth Pool of Coweta, OK, Kari Gaskill of Millersville, MO, Courtney Kennedy of Oak Ridge, MO, Chasity Dibert of Whitewater, MO, Colton Seabaugh of FL, Chelsea Seabaugh of CA, Klanci Seabaugh of FL; one sister, Elnora Lee of Chaffee, MO and thirteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Leslie "Scooter" Seabaugh; two brothers, Eldred Seabaugh and Joel Seabaugh; two sisters, Ila Vehrs and Coleta Shelton. Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4:30PM Saturday September 1, 2012 until time of service. A memorial service will be held at 5PM with Burt Croy officiating.
