Sharlett Ann Eftink

Sharlett Ann Eftink, 56, of Chaffee, MO, passed away on Monday September 3, 2012 at the family home in Chaffee, MO. She was born in Chaffee, MO on January 28, 1956, to Philip Aloysius and Doris Jean Klipfel Walter. Sharlett married Jerome "Bear" Eftink on November 23, 1974 and he survives. She was an 8th grade language arts teacher in the Jackson Junior High and she retired in 2012 after teaching for 30yrs. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee, MO; Daughters of St. Ambrose; Confirmation Instructor; Mentoring program; Professional Development Committee; Jr. High Leadership Team; started the Jr. High Reading Program and Volunteered for the C.A.L.B Program. Survivors include her husband, Jerome, of the family home; her mother, Doris Walter of Oran, MO; one son, Josh (Arica) Eftink of Gordonville, MO; two daughters, Tonya (Brad Wessel) Eftink of Chaffee, MO, Jacquelyn Eftink of Portland, ME; three grandsons, Brayden, Dawson and Nolan Eftink of Gordonville, MO; five brothers, Ronnie Walter, Randy (June) Walter, Kim (Cheryl) Walter all of Oran, MO, Danny (Gail) Walter of Chaffee, MO, Scott (Sandy) Walter of Oran, MO; six sisters, Carla (Bennie) Ray of Oran, MO, Donna (Jim) Dinges of South Bend, IN, Gail (Randy) Dumey of Chaffee, MO, Karen (John) Pobst of Scott City, MO, Cindy (Neal) Seyer of Oran, MO and Sandy (Mark) Mahurin of Bloomington, IN. She was preceded in death by her father and step-father, Harold "Bud" Sietman. Friends may call today after 3PM at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Parish prayers will be at 4PM at the chapel. Funeral mass will be at 10AM on Thursday September 6, 2012 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee with Rev. Randy Tochtrop as celebrant and Rev.
