Marie J. Eftink, 89, of Oran, MO passed away Sunday, Sept 30,2012 at the family home in Oran, MO. She was born April 18, 1923, in Randles, MO to the late W. J. and Wilhelmenia Brand Trankler. She married Paul J. Eftink on November 12, 1940 and he preceded her in death on August 20, 1997. Marie was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, MO, and St. Ann Sodality. Survivors include three sons, Eugene (Jerralee) Eftink, John (Claret) Eftink both of Chaffee, MO, Mark (Rebecca) Eftink of Oran, MO; two daughters, Marilyn (Lanny) Koch of Chaffee, MO, Carolyn (Jerome) Landewee of Oran, MO; twenty grandchildren and thirty seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandson, four brothers and one sister. Friends may call after 4PM, today, at Amick Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, MO. Parish Rosary will be at 6PM followed by K.C Prayers at 6:15PM. Funeral mass will be held at 11AM, Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran with Rev. Randy Tochtrop as celebrant. Burial will follow at Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family would like memorials to be made to Guardian Angel Catholic School in Oran or St. Ambrose Catholic School in Chaffee.
