Stella Irene Steger

Stella Irene Steger, 79, of Chaffee, MO passed away Monday, Oct. 15,2012 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born December 10, 1932, in Commerce, MO to the late Ira Andrew and Edna Louise Saddler Sadler. She married Roy F. Steger Jr. on Sept. 23, 1978 and he survives. She was a member of Chaffee Country CBer's, Chaffee American Legion Aux Post #389 and Chaffee V.F.W. Aux Post #3127. Survivors include her husband Roy Steger Jr. of Chaffee, MO; two sons, Bobby (Anita) Schrum Sr., Gary (Debbie) Schrum both of Chaffee, MO; three daughters, Sharon (Jerry) Ayers of Chaffee, MO, Barbara (Rodney) Kirn of Jackson, MO, Tina (John) Swinford of Chaffee, MO; two brothers, Lee Sadler , Jackie Sadler both of Chaffee, MO; two sisters, Anna Mae Nanny, Janet Totty both of Chaffee, MO; 19 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, Ronald Schrum Sr., two brothers and two sisters. Friends may call after 4PM, Wednesday October 17, 2012 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Funeral service will be held at 1PM, Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the chapel with Rev. Bob Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
