Donald Ray Jones, 64 of Benton, Missouri died Monday, October 22, 2012 at his home. He was born October 10, 1948 in East Prairie, MO to Elbert "Preacher" and Lois Pinnion Jones. He married Glenda Joyce Ditto on November 3, 1967 in Rockford, IL. Donald was Maintenance Supervisor at the Scott County Courthouse. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Benton, MO. He is survived by his wife; a son, Don R. (Missy) Jones II of Benton; a brother, Bill Jones of East Prairie; a sister, Jean (Dana) McCourt of Benton; two grandsons, Ben Jones and Cody Jones; a great grandson, Preston Jones. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Unity Baptist Church and on Thursday from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the church with Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating. Burial will be in Unity Baptist Cemetery in Benton, MO. Memorials can be made to Unity Baptist church, PO Box 458, Benton, MO or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
