Martha "Jeannie" Aurgene Martin, 75 of Scott City died November 12, 2012 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born January 24, 1937 in Fornfelt, MO to Clarence Louis and Alma Rose Hoffman Jackson. She married Raymond George Martin in March 20, 1970. Jeannie was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Post 6407 in Scott City, Ladies Auxiliary, Knights of Columbus Council 6420 in Scott City. She is survived by her husband, four sons, Clark (Debbie) Sullivan of Las Vegas, NV; Mark (Cherie) Sullivan of Olathe, KS; Charlie (Becky) Sullivan of Jackson, MO and Billy Sullivan of Naples, FL; three daughters, Synthia Gramm of Poplar Bluff, Cece Olson of Scott City and Mimi (David) Gomes of San Diego, CA; a brother, Joe (Velma) Jackson of Thebes, IL; three sisters, Lillian Blattel of Cape Girardeau, Rosemary Kjer and Kitty Harris both of Scott City; a brother-in-law David Martin of Washington; a sister-in-law, Florence Niswanger of Scott City; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Visitations will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City. Parish Prayers at 6:00 followed by K.C. Service. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday at the church with Rev. Oliver Clavin as Celebrant. Burial will be at noon in Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO. Memorials can be sent to St. Joseph Catholic School or American Cancer Society.
