Betty Sue Pettigrew, 70 of Benton died Monday, November 19, 2012 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born November 18, 1942 to Raymond Wayne and Edith Mattie Johnson Hannah in Dorena, MO. She married Harry Quertemous on June 16, 1962 in Charleston, MO. She was a resident caretaker for Sunshine Villa in Scott City. She was of the General Baptist Faith. She is survived by three daughters, Angie ( Gary) Henderson of Olive Branch, IL, Linda (John) White of Fredericktown, MO, LaDonna (Don) Rainey of Benton, MO; three brothers, Rev. Raymond Hannah of East Prairie, MO, Larry Hannah of Kane, IL, Bobby (Roxanne) Hannah of Fayetteville, IL; four sisters, Mary (Bruce) Garner of Cape Girardeau, Barbara Askins of Fredericktown, MO, Fredia (Bud) Ferguson of DeSoto, MO and Dorothy (Jerry) Silkwood of Piedmont, MO; nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 AM until time of service at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City. Funeral Service will be Friday at 1:00 PM at the Chapel with Rev. Larry Rouse officiating. Private burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston. In Lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel to assist with funeral expenses.
