Kimberly King

Kimberly "Kim" King, 53, of Jackson formerly of Delta, MO passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born August 23, 1959 in Kittery, ME to Larry Don and Nelda Jean Sparkman Schwepker. She married R. Bruce King on December 31,1987 and he survives. Kimberly worked as a business manager at Facilities Management for Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Egypt Mills, MO. Survivors include her husband of the home; her mom and dad, Nelda and Ivis Kinder of Delta, Mo; one son, Robert Forest King of Jackson, Mo; one daughter, Sarah River (Colton) Schwab of Ozark, AL; one brother, Bryan (Melissa) Kinder of Chaffee, Mo; her granny, Viola Kinder of Delta, Mo and one aunt Barbara Schwepker of Cape Girardeau, Mo. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Don Schwepker; grandparents, Bill and Mildred Sparkman, Frank Kinder and Adath Schwepker. Friends may call after 4PM, Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The funeral service will be held Sunday at 1PM at the chapel with Rev.Kevin Olson officiating. Burial will follow in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Eqypt Mills or American Cancer Society. Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
