Patricia Ann Blankenship

Patricia Ann Blankenship, 65 of Scott City died January 2, 2013 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born November 8, 1947 in Kelso, Missouri to Theon Frank "Mouse" and Marie Bertha Schoen Schaefer. She married Roy Wayne Blankenship on January 18, 1964 in Jackson, MO. She was a cook for Scott City and St. Joseph Schools. She is survived by her husband; a son, Buddy Blankenship of Scott City; two daughters, Sondra (Michael) Brunke and Teresa Pool both of Jacksonville, FL; three brothers, Vernon Schaefer and Mike (Lisa) Schaefer both of Scott City, Gilbert (Bonnie) Schaefer of Holts Summit; three sisters, Dorene Hamm of Fruitland, Mary Fowler of Scott City and Sharon (Karl) Knight of Neosho, MO; four grandchildren, Collin Brunke, Channah, Macyra and Abigail Pool; great granddaughter, Taylor Vinyard. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a grandchild. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM Friday, January 4, 2013 at Cornerstone Wesleyan Church in Scott City and Saturday, January 5, 2013 from 9:00 AM until time of service. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the church with Rev. Kevin Ropp officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City, MO.
