Winifred Bollinger

Winifred I. Bollinger, 89, of Oran passed away Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at the Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Mo. She was born Sept. 19, 1923, at Painton, Mo., to the late Lavis and Roena Hampton Gray. She married A. "Buck" Bollinger on Nov. 17, 1942. He preceded her in death Oct. 8, 1992. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Oran, and she was a retired hairdresser working for Nadine's Beauty Shop. Survivors include two sons, Perry (Jeannie) Bollinger and Bradley (Teresa) Bollinger, both of Oran; a brother, Haskell Gray of Prescott, Mich.; one sister, Winona Santos of Glen Burnie, Md.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant son, two brothers and two sisters. Winifred decided she did not want any funeral services.
