Frances A. Hess

Frances A Hess, age 101 went to be with her Lord on January 20th, 2013. She was born on August 31, 1911 in the township of Kelso, Mo. She lived most of her life in Scott City, Mo. She worked as a seamstress and a homemaker; she enjoyed flowers, gardening and quilting. She is survived by three sons, Francis Westrich and wife Marie of Danville, Ind., Andrew Westrich of Springfield, Mo., Paul (Yvonne) Crader of Scott City, Mo., 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Anton and Mary Hess, three sisters, three brothers and daughters-in-law Judith Westrich and Diane Crader. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until time of service on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, Mo. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at the church with Rev. Oliver Clavin as celebrant. Burial will be at St. Augustine Cemetery in Kelso, Mo.
