Marilyn A. Horman

Marilyn A. Horman, age 68, of Chaffee, MO passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013 at the family home in Chaffee, MO. She was born in New Hamburg, MO on February 4, 1944 to the late Oscar Charles and Vera Marie Dannenmueller Griffin. Marilyn married Rob Horman on July 7, 1962 and he survives. She was a retired home health caregiver for Pyramid Home Health in Cape Girardeau, MO. Marilyn was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee and the Daughters of St. Ambrose. She was a beloved fan of Chaffee athletics. Survivors include her husband, Rob of the home; two sons, Mike Horman and Scott (Leslie) Horman both of Chaffee, MO; five grandchildren, Zachary (Andrea) Horman, Trenton Horman, Megan Horman, Garner Horman, Griffin Horman all of Chaffee, MO; one great grandchild, Dane Horman of Chaffee, MO; four brothers, William(Vickie) Griffin, Glen(Debbie) Griffin and Joe Griffin all of Chaffee, MO, Earl (Laura) Buck of Glasgow, MO; one sister, Delores Walker of Wappapello, MO. Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4PM, Thursday January 31, 2013. Parish Rosary will be held at 7PM at the chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 10AM, Friday, February 1, 2013 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church with Rev. Randy Tochtrop as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Ambrose Catholic Church Cemetery in Chaffee, MO. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Chaffee High School-Race For A Cure. Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
