Arzie E. Cook, age 79, of Chaffee, MO passed away Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the family home in Chaffee, MO. He was born near Painton, MO on December 31, 1933 to the late Luster Elbert and Lillie Catherine Jenkins Cook. Arzie married Lois Sullinger on April 30, 1953 and she survives. He served twenty years in the United States Air Force as an aircraft electrician tech sergeant retiring in 1973. He served in the Vietnam War. He was also a member of the Church of God in Chaffee, MO. Survivors include his wife, Lois, of the home; two sons, Gary (Denise) Cook of Jackson, MO, Dennis (Barbara) Cook of Chaffee, MO; one sister, Lula (Al) Hartle of KY; six grandchildren, Sean (Rebecca) Salvo, Jennifer (Tom) Leible, Joey (Chad) Cantrell, Christina Cook all of Chaffee, MO, Nicholas (Elizabeth) Cook of Glenwood, IA, Bryan (Ari) Hahn of Dayton, OH; eighteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Friends may call on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Church of God in Chaffee from 9am until the time of service. Funeral service will be held at 10am at the church with Rev. Tom Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview cemetery near Arbor with full military honors presented by the Missouri Honor Guard. Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
