Flora Doneghue

Flora Frances Doneghue, age 83, of Chaffee, MO formerly of Carmi, IL passed away Monday, April 22, 2013, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, MO. She was born on August 7, 1929 in Dogtown, IL to the late John Walter and Ettia Mae Kelly Crocker Allison. She married Carl "Curly" Doneghue on May 13, 1950 and he preceded her in death on August 9, 1979. Fran worked as a material spreader at Ainsbrook clothing factory; a manager at Gas-A-Mat in Chaffee, MO and waitressed at Gottzz's Family Diner in Carmi, IL. Survivors include two sons, Bill (Cheryl) Doneghue of Carthage, TX, Rick (Marie) Doneghue of Spring, TX; three daughters Carla (Tony) Gott of Carmi, IL, Kathy (Larry) Kirn of Chaffee, MO, Bonnie (Jim) Stevens of Cape Girardeau, MO; sixteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; twenty two great-great grandchildren; one nephew, Bob (Phyllis) Allison of Murphysboro, IL. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Leland Crocker, Edward Crocker, Walter Allison, Mack Allison and Julius Allison; two sisters, Pearl Crocker and Helen Crocker Whitsitt. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 11AM at Big Prairie Cemetery in Carmi, IL with Rev. Bob Pollard officiating.
