Lester "Windy" Pease

Lester Leroy (Windy) Pease, 75 of Benton died May 20, 2013 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born March 17, 1938 in Maynard, AR to the late Murray L. and Mildred L. Moody Pease. He married Margie Freeman on May 9, 1959 in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was a retired over -the -road truck drive, shade tree mechanic, farm equipment operator and longtime fisherman. He served in the U S Navy. He was the proud father of four daughters with Margie Grant, Gale (Jeffrey) Bohannon and Missy (Tim) Kraft both of Scott City, Kay (John) Pease-Smith and Leigh Ann (Jason) Keen both of Benton. He is also survived by two brothers, Carl Pease of Cape Girardeau and Lavon Pease of Maynard AR. He was the loving grandfather to twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Dwayne Pease; a brother, Jude Pease; a sister, Anna Lou Freeman. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until the time of service on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Unity Baptist Church in Benton, MO. Memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the church with Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating. Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Jarrett Cemetery in Maynard, AR. In Lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Siteman Cancer Center.
