Dempsey R. Graham, age 93, of Morley, MO passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born on February 7, 1920 in Watts, AR to the late John Jasper and Silas Mandanna Copeland Graham. Dempsey married Lillian D. Harris on February 21, 1946 and she survives. He was a retired truck driver for Halter Gas Company in Oran, MO. He was a member of the United States Army having served in WWII, also a member of Church of Christ in Morley and a lifetime member of Morley V.F.W. Post #5368. Survivors include his wife, Lillian of Morley; one son, Wayne Graham of Scott City, MO; one daughter, Barbara (A.C) Bell of Batesville, AR; one brother, J.R. (Corrinne) Graham of Memphis, MO; one sister Delois Goetz of Sikeston, MO; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Denver Graham and one sister, Berleane Cody. Friends may call after 4PM, today, at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Funeral Service will be held at 10AM, Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran with Bill Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley with full military honors presented by the Missouri Honor Guard.
