Ruth Estella Wroblewski

Ruth Estella "Stella" Wroblewski, 93, of Scott City died Saturday June 15, 2013 at the Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau. She was born October 10, 1919, at Illmo, son of Alfred Amsy and Nora Lena Etter Lambert. She married Edmund Raymond Wroblewski on May 29, 1969 at St. Louis, Mo. He preceded her in death on May 5, 2008 Stella worked for 30 years at the Federal Reserve Bank in St. Louis as a data entry clerk. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City. Survivors include; a brother, Alfred "Jr." Lambert, of Scott City; two sisters, Juanita Carlton and Rose Walter, both of Scott City. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers and two sisters. Friends may call from 4-8:00 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Parish prayers will be at 6:30. Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Oliver Clavin at St. Joseph Church at 10:00 a.m. Monday. Interment will follow in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
