Mildred Louise Graham

Mildred Louise Graham, 86, of Benton died Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Monticello House in Jackson. She was born Sept. 11, 1926, in Glenallen, Mo., to Fred and Ruth Aldrich Burns. She married Ray Joe Graham Sept. 11, 1946. He preceded her in death Nov. 7, 2002. Mildred was a former clerk in the Scott County Collectors Office. She was a member of Benton United Methodist Church and the Red Hat Society. She is survived by a son, Fred (Cathy) Graham of Scott City; two sisters, Georgia Mae Graham of Benton, Evelyn Aline Compas of Kelso, Mo.; and a grandson, Barry Graham of Destin, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday,July 18, 2013 at the chapel, with the Rev. Harry Sharp officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Morley, Mo. Memorials may be sent to Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary or Humane Society of Southeast Missouri.
