John Clifford Criddle, age 60, of Arbor, MO passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at the family home in Arbor, MO. He was born in Cape Girardeau, MO on April 24, 1953 to James William and Doris Marie Owens Criddle. John married Susan Schearf on October 20, 1972 and she survives. He was a produce manager from 1974-2000 for Schapers IGA, Wetterau, Malone-Hyde and Supervalue. He farmed with his dad and brother on the family farm. He was also a self-employed small engine repairman specializing in John Deer mowers. John was a member of GWRRA-Gold Wing Road Riders Association, Chapter I of Cape Girardeau. He was an avid hunter from the time he could carry a gun. He especially enjoyed hunting deer and turkey. Survivors include his wife of the home; his parents of Whitewater, MO; one son, Jason Scott Criddle of Delta, MO; one daughter, Ami Nicole (Joshua) Andrews of Marble Hill, MO; one brother, James "Jim" (Kathy) Criddle of Millersville, MO; one sister Jane Ellen (Jim) Bowers of Whitewater, MO; seven grandchildren, Aaron Christopher Criddle, Harley Rhea Criddle, Jesse Shayne Criddle, Ashley Nicole Andrews, Phillip Austin Andrews, Isaac Scott Andrews and Olivia Kaylene Andrews. Friends may call after 4PM, Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, MO. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30AM on Wednesday August 21, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Delta, MO with Pastor Mitchell Jackson officiating assisted by Rev. Eric Hodge. Burial will follow at Kenyon Cemetery near Delta, MO.
