Milton Lee Goehman, 86 of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, August 24, 2013 at his home. Milton was born January 13, 1927 at Jackson, Mo., the son of Marvin C. and Thelma A. Mollenhour Goehman. He married Biddie Rose Hopper on July 3, 1948 at Scott City, Mo. She preceded him in death on March 1, 2009. Milton was an agent telegrapher with the Frisco Railroad for 39 years. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII and was a member of V.F.W. Post 3838 in Cape Girardeau. He was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau. He loved to fly model airplanes and was a member of the SEMO Modelers Association. Survivors include; four daughters, Sharon Alley of Columbia, Mo., Connie Walker of Chaffee, Mo., Toni (Gary) Senn of Scott City and Yvonne (Bob) Waddington of House Springs; two brothers, Conway Goehman of Ironton, Mo. and Lonnie Goehman of DesArc, Mo.; his step-mother Helen Johnson of Piedmont, Mo.; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, a sister, Delores Tanner and a great grandson, Lucas James Walker. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 8:00 p.m. at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Funeral service will be at the chapel Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. David Hulshof officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery at Scott City. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to VNA Hospice.
