Pamela Ann Cate

Pamela A. Cate, age 57, of Scott City, MO passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born in Whitewater, MO on August 17, 1956 to the late Ruddle Otto and Mary Stevens Gloth. Pamela married Norman Cate on December 22, 1988 and he preceded her in death on September 8, 2011. She worked as a seamstress at Thorngate Ltd. Survivors include one son, Shawn (Amanda) Hanshew of Chaffee, MO; a special niece whom she thought of as a daughter, Candy Collom of Chaffee, MO; two sisters, Rose Lee (Bob) Kirn of New Hamburg, MO, Karen Sue Schmitt of Chaffee, MO; three granddaughters, Abigail, Keylynn and Sylvia. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Mike Gloth. Friends may call from 5-7PM, today, at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, MO. Burial will be at a later date.
