Michael Leon Borden, age 55, of Scott City, MO passed away on Monday, September 30, 2013 in Poplar Bluff, MO. He was born in St. Louis, MO on January 11, 1958 to Johnny Lee Borden and Suedell Puckett Brown. Survivors include one son, Michael Borden Jr. of Sikeston, MO; three step children, Melissa Vinson of Cape Girardeau, MO, Teddy Vinson of St. Louis, MO, Adam Vinson of Cape Girardeau, MO; one brother, Dennis Brown of Poplar Bluff, MO; three sisters, Norma Mawhinney of Chaffee, MO, Caroline Byerley of Scott City, MO and Paula Miller of Potosi, MO. He was preceded in death by his mother and step father, James Robert and Suedell Puckett Brown; and one brother. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
