Yvonne Ressel

Yvonne Ressel died October 9, 2013 at her home in Nesbit at the age of 48. Yvonne was born in San Francisco, CA, November 25, 1964. She graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School in New Orleans, LA. She attended Louisana State University and received her Bachelor of Science in 1991 from the University of Memphis. Yvonne's passions in life included traveling, yoga, dancing, speaking Spanish and learning new things while inspiring others to do the same. Yvonne is survived by husband of 25 years, Kevin Ressel, and siblings Darwin Lesh, Cara Romaguera (husband, Frank) and Christine Kampmann (husband, David). Loving aunt of Philip, Olivia, Elinor Romaguera and Tyler and Hailey Kampmann. She is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by mother, Nancy Hansen Lesh and father, Arthur Frederick Lesh. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 19 at The Church of The River, 292 Virginia Avenue W., Memphis, TN. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Herb Kosten Pancreatic Cancer Research Foundation, where Yvonne served as Executive Director. (www.kostenfoundation.com).
