James Edward Mosley, 59, of Chaffee, MO passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born in Dekoven, KY on May 18, 1954 to the late James C. and Lucy Mae Padgett Mosley. James married Deborah Diane Carter on March 15, 1975 in Cape Girardeau, MO and she survives. Prior to becoming disabled he worked at M.E. Leming Lumber Company in Cape Girardeau, MO. Survivors include his wife, Deborah, of the home; five sons, Daniel P. (Missy) Carter of Cape Girardeau, MO, James R. Mosley of Chaffee, MO, Joseph C. (Anglea) Mosley of Gordonville, MO, Jason W. (Alison) Mosley of Chaffee, MO, Joshua (Amber) Mosley of Chaffee, MO; one daughter, Jennifer K. (Robert) Henderson of Steelville, MO; two brothers, David (Regina) Mosley of Sturgis, KY, Eddie (Mae) Mosley of Evansville, IN; three sisters, Barbara (David) Harkey of Saucier, MS, Charlene (Dennis) Barnaby of Morganfield, KY, Tammy Hunter of Morganfield, KY and nineteen grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one brother, William Mosley and one sister, Dottie Mosley. Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee from 11am until time of service on Friday, November 15, 2013 Funeral service will be held at1pm at the chapel with Rev. Doug Sikes officiating. Burial will follow at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee, MO.
